Jim Osborne is a Hampshire based artist taking great inspiration from the years he spent living along the Cornish coast and visiting the Isles of Scilly.

His practice primarily colourises experiences of place, creating little windows into quiet moments within the landscape through a sensitivity of mark-making and gestural strokes. Painting with an alla-prima approach the artist uses his medium to shape the forms and quality of light occupying his landscapes - sitting somewhere between realism and memory.
